Brian Anderson smacks solo homer Sunday afternoon

by Nate Miller | Mariners Correspondent | Sun, Aug 28th 6:28pm EDT

Brian Anderson went 1-for-2 with a solo homer and a pair of walks in Sunday's 8-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Fantasy Impact:

It has been an injury-plagued year for Anderson, as he has managed to get in just 68 of the Marlins 127 games to this point. The 29-year-old veteran did, however, finish off a solid week at the plate Sunday. Over his last six games, Anderson put up a .417 OBP with a double, a pair of homers, four RBI, and four runs scored across 24 plate appearances. He could be a viable option down the stretch for those in search of some extra offense in deeper formats.
