Noah Syndergaard struggles in no-decision against Giants on Saturday

Noah Syndergaard allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings on Saturday against the Giants. He struck out three and did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
For the second straight start, Syndergaard had very little success, generating just five whiffs, all of them with his curveball. With the velocity he has lost from his peak in prior seasons, Syndergaard simply does not miss many bats any longer, and even when he induces a low average exit velocity like he did on Saturday (80.3 MPH), things can go south in a hurry. That's especially true given the Phillies' poor defense. Syndergaard will get a soft matchup against the Nationals next, but he's at best a mediocre start for your fantasy team.
