Ian Kennedy was unable to shut the door in the ninth inning for the Diamondbacks Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and blowing the save chance in the Diamondbacks' 8-6 loss to the Brewers.

Kennedy has allowed runs in two of his last six relief appearances for the Diamondbacks, blowing two save chances and picking up one loss in that span. The veteran right-hander carries a 3.25 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 40 strikeouts and 10 saves in 49 relief appearances this season.
