Marco Gonzales throws seven strong innings Wednesday

Marco Gonzales took the no-decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits across seven innings to go along with five strikeouts and two walks.
Fantasy Impact:
The Mariners asked Gonzales to close the regular season going deep into the game to save the Mariners bullpen ahead of this weekend's Wildcard series. He did just that with seven strong innings, followed by an inning out of Paul Sewald and Erik Swanson. Gonzales is not expected to make the Mariners Wildcard roster, but he did his job in the final game of the regular season.
