David Lough gets two hits the loss
by James McGowan | Thu, Jul 2nd 11:39pm EDT
On Thursday, the Baltimore Orioles lost to the Texas Rangers 2-0. The O's only got three hits, and struggled to score runs the entire game. David Lough had two of the three hits for the Orioles tonight.
Fantasy Impact:
Lough has been a pretty good player for the Orioles this season in a very crowded outfield. He is currently hitting .202, with four home runs, 12 RBI, and has an OPS of .590. Lough has only played 58 games this season, but has helped the Orioles when they need to give people days off. Lough has struggled a little bit at the plate, but the numbers this season have been the same as they have his whole career. Lough is a player that I would caution picking up, he doesn't put up great numbers offensively but he is good defensively (which doesn't count in most leagues). Lough is also a part of the over crowded O's offense, and doesn't play everyday. It'll be interesting to see if Lough can continue to help the O's as the season progresses.
