Fantasy Impact:
Smith is likely going to play first base on a rebuilding Nationals team. Smith struggled with the Mets last season, slashing .194/.276/.284 with 17 runs batted in over 58 games. The Nationals will likely give Smith plenty of opportunities to re-find his power stroke in 2023.
