Fantasy Impact:
Ashcraft said his calf locked up during the last pitch of his outing but said it was "back to normal" once the muscle calmed down. Ashcraft's cutter reached 100 mph in the outing as he averaged 97.3 mph on the offering last season. Ashcraft made 19 starts for the 2022 Reds, posting a 4.89 ERA but also turned in a 2.29 mark across eight starts at the Triple-A level. He should slot in as the Reds' third starter this season.
