Cristian Pache doesn't make opening day roster

Cristian Pache will not make the Athletics' opening day roster. The A's are exploring trade opportunities. (Matt Kawahara on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The A's do not need to finalize their roster at the moment, so they will take the time to find a trade destination for the top prospect. Pache is out of options, so he will be designated for assignment if a trade does not happen. He hit just .166/.218/.241 in 91 games with Oakland in 2022.
