Trey Wingenter makes Tigers Opening Day roster

Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch has informed reliever Trey Wingenter he has made the Opening Day roster. (Cody Stavenhagen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Wingenter, 28, hasn't appeared in the big leagues since 2019 but has solid underlying numbers in his brief MLB career. In 73 appearances, he owns a 5.14 ERA, but also a solid 3.79 FIP, 3.63 SIERA, and an excellent 33.1% K-rate. He'll look to contribute to a new-look Tigers bullpen in 2023.
