Jacob deGrom struggles mightily in Rangers debut

Jacob deGrom had a short outing on Thursday, finishing with a no-decision after lasting just three and two-thirds of an inning and allowing five runs off six hits and inducing seven strikeouts in Thursday's 11-7 Opening Day win over the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
The ace was looking to start his next chapter differently, but luckily for deGrom, the offence got him off the hook to avoid the loss. That is something that rarely happened during his time with the Mets. Chalk this one up as opening-day jitters, as deGrom was dominating to start the game before he fell apart. The veteran's only obstacle this year will be his health, so as long as he can stay on the field, expect top-ten numbers at the position in all formats.
