J.T. Realmuto picks up three hits, swipes a bag on Opening Day
by Nate Miller | Thu, Mar 30th 8:22pm EDT
J.T. Realmuto went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's 11-7 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Realmuto showed Thursday why he was once again the consensus No. 1 catcher for fantasy drafts around the industry this preseason. Batting from the third spot in the Philly lineup, the three-time All-Star delivered three base knocks and swiped third base in the early going. Realmuto set a new career high with 21 steals last year, and it appears he will continue to be a nice source of speed from the catcher position along with his solid hitting.
