Padres shortstop Xander Bogaerts had a fantastic debut in a San Diego uniform, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in a 7-2 loss to the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Bogaerts signed a massive deal to move coasts and join a loaded Padres offense. He did his part on Opening Day, showcasing his skills at the plate but the rest of the offense was practically non-existent. Better days are ahead for the Padres and therefore Bogaerts in terms of overall productivity.
