Drey Jameson was strong in relief for the Diamondbacks Friday night, allowing one run on two hits while also walking three and striking out four in four innings pitched to pick up the win in relief in a 2-1 victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Jameson begins the season in the Arizona bullpen, but if the right-hander continues to produce solid results, the club will be forced to put the 25-year-old back into the starting rotation where he posted an impressive 1.48 ERA with 24 strikeouts in four starts (3-0) to finish the 2022 season. Fantasy managers desperate for low cost starting pitching options will want to monitor Jameson going forward.
