Pavin Smith went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Diamondbacks Tuesday, singling, belting a solo home run, and scoring two runs in a 14-5 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith has been fairly solid at the plate for the Diamondbacks to begin the season, collecting hits and driving in runs in five of seven games for the club. The 27-year-old continues to make a case for more regular playing time under manager Torey Lovullo, posting a 1.268 OPS with six runs scored, two home runs, and 10 runs batted in so far this season.
