Gabriel Moreno went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Diamondbacks Friday night, singling three times, scoring one run, and driving in three runs in a 9-0 win over the Padres.

Moreno has been productive at the plate for the Diamondbacks recently, picking up hits and driving in runs in three of his last four games for the club. The 23-year-old has begun to fulfill the promise that made the catcher the centerpiece of the trade that sent Daulton Varsho to Toronto, batting .278 with three runs scored, one home run, and 12 runs batted in so far this season.
