Jeurys Familia escaped with a save in relief for the Athletics Monday night, allowing two runs on two hits while also walking one and striking out one in one inning of an 11-10 win over the Angels.

Familia is in the middle of a rocky stretch out of the bullpen for the Athletics, allowing runs in four of his last seven relief appearances for the club. The right-hander offers minimal value combined with extreme volatility on the mound when called upon, posting a 5.73 ERA and 1.64 WHIP with five strikeouts and two saves in 11 relief appearances so far this season.
