Eduardo Rodriguez steady on mound Saturday against Orioles

by Chris Schommer | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Sun, Apr 30th 8:34am EDT

Eduardo Rodriguez was steady on the mound in the first game of a doubleheader for the Tigers Saturday, allowing one run on four hits while also walking two and striking out five over 5 2/3 innings in a 7-4 win over the Orioles.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodriguez continues a strong stretch on the mound for the Tigers after struggling with command early, allowing one run or less in each of his last four starts for the club. The left-hander has provided solid output for fantasy managers despite playing for a Detroit club that has been challenged offensively to begin the season for manager AJ Hinch, carrying an impressive 0.87 WHIP and 2.21 ERA to go along with a 4.29 K/BB ratio in six starts (2-2) on the mound so far this season.
