German Marquez to undergo Tommy John surgery

German Marquez announced that he will undergo Tommy John surgery to address an elbow injury, sidelining him for the remainder of the 2023 season. (Patrick Saunders on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Marquez sustained the injury last week and it was a worry of the team that he may require Tommy John surgery. As it normally does, the surgery will leave him out for the rest of the year and likely for a bit of the 2024 season.
