Austin Riley goes 2-for-4 in loss to Blue Jays
by Mike Maher | Braves Correspondent | Mon, May 15th 10:21am EDT
Riley had a solid outing at the plate, collecting two hits in four at-bats, but was unable to drive in any runs as the Braves fell to the Blue Jays 6-5 on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the loss, Riley has been a consistent contributor for the Braves this season, posting a .247 batting average with six home runs and 18 RBI through 40 games played. While his strikeout rate remains high at 0.277, he has shown improvement in his walk rate at 0.113 and has a respectable 0.323 wOBA and 0.317 BABIP to date. This isn't the production that fantasy managers who drafted Rile were hoping for, however.
