Fantasy Impact:
Friedl’s stint on the injured list is retroactive to Friday. The 27-year-old is slashing .306/.351/.468 with three home runs, 18 RBI, four stolen bases in 37 games this season. Oblique strains can tend to linger, so fantasy managers will want to wait on updates from the Reds on a timetable for Friedl.
