Diaz got Tuesday night off but is right back in the lineup, hitting leadoff against left-hander Justin Steele. It's been a monster season for the 31-year-old who is hitting .320 with 12 home runs and a 1.018 OPS across an even 200 trips to the plate. He will man first base Wednesday afternoon at Wrigley Field.
