Josh Jung to undergo thumb surgery

Josh Jung will undergo surgery to stabilize his fractured left thumb and is expected to miss six weeks. (Evan Grant on Twitter )

Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy stated Jung will likely go undergo the surgery on Wednesday and the team is hopeful he will return before the end of the regular season. Jung was having a great season and the impact of his absence will be felt by the Rangers.
