Fantasy Impact:
The move to the IL will likely end the rookie’s excellent first season. The 20-year-old finishes the 2023 season with a 3.15 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 108 strikeouts over 19 starts. Perez would be eligible to return to the team’s active roster if the Marlins make the playoffs.
