Mountcastle (shoulder) was activated from the injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the Nationals but did not participate in his club's 5-1 win. He will return to take on Chris Sale on Thursday while he's hitting .269 with 18 homers and three stolen bases across 111 games on the season.
