Wilyer Abreu (ankle) is doing more and likely will head out on a rehab assignment next week, per manager Alex Cora. (Jen McCaffrey on Twitter)

Abreu reported earlier in the week that he was feeling discomfort in his right ankle when running. Cora stated that he is feeling better and is trending in the right direction.
