Sean Reid-Foley in mix for Mets bullpen spot

Sean Reid-Foley (shoulder) is being eyed for a back-end bullpen role with the Mets if he can show he’s healthy in spring training, per team reports.
Fantasy Impact:
With no minor-league options left, the Mets have a reason to keep the 29-year-old righty in the bigs, provided his shoulder holds up after a cautious ramp-up in camp. Reid-Foley dealt with a right shoulder impingement that cut his 2024 short, but when he pitched, he was sharp—1.66 ERA and a 25:14 K:BB over 21.2 frames. A 1.25 WHIP and so-so control show he’s not elite, but if he logs Grapefruit League innings soon, he’s got a window to lock in for Opening Day. Fantasy managers chasing holds in deep leagues should watch his spring progress.
