Sean Reid-Foley cleared waivers Thursday and was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse after being placed on waivers Tuesday to free up a 40-man roster spot, per team reports. (New York Mets)
Fantasy Impact:
Reid-Foley, 29, went unclaimed by other teams—he had a sharp 1.66 ERA and 1.25 WHIP over 21.2 innings in 2024 before a June shoulder injury shut him down. A strong Triple-A start could vault him back to the Mets’ bullpen. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues might keep him on the radar; his relief upside could resurface with health.
