Eric Wagaman provides only Marlins runs with homer

Eric Wagaman accounted for his team's only offense Friday against the Phillies, hitting a two-run home run off Zack Wheeler. He finished the game 1-for-3 with a walk, one run scored, and two RBI. It was Wagaman's second home run of the season.

The homer extended Wagaman's hitting streak to six games. Through 56 plate appearances, the former Angels farmhand is slashing .260/.339/.440 with two homers, six RBI, and seven runs scored. He possesses an excellent 10.7% strikeout rate early on.
