Mason Miller Shuts Down Rangers for Save
by Chase Davis | Padres Correspondent | Fri, May 2nd 8:41am EDT
Mason Miller struck out one batter in a perfect inning to secure the save in Thursday's win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s game, Miller boasts a 1.50 ERA and 0.67 WHIP with 10 saves across 12 appearances this season. Miller looks the part of the most dominant closer in baseball. His underlying stats all back up everything he's done, and his 55% K% is otherworldly. Miller's 56.3% hard-hit rate is the only blemish, but when you give up so few batted balls, that number is going to be higher. He's a top-three closer the rest of the way, only limited by his team and opportunities.
