Jose Ramirez exited Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays due to a mild right ankle sprain. (Andre Knott on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ramirez sustained the injury in the third inning after stumbling awkwardly over first base on an infield single. Daniel Schneeman entered as a pinch-runner and took over at second base, with Gabriel Arias shifting to third. The injury has been diagnosed as mild which will likely not require an IL stint, so Ramirez can be considered day-to-day. If he does miss time, Will Wilson and Arias are the leading options to fill in at third base.
