Ronny Mauricio will move his rehab assignment to Double-A Binghamton on Friday. (Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mauricio is working his way back from a torn ACL in his right knee, which was surgically repaired in August. During his rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie, he's gone 2-for-16 at the plate but has already stolen two bases, an encouraging sign that he's comfortable testing his speed and mobility. With the Mets' infield currently crowded, it wouldn't be surprising if he remains in the minors after he's activated to continue getting regular at-bats.
