JJ Bleday hits solo home run Sunday

JJ Bleday provided his team's only extra-base hit in Sunday's loss to the Yankees, a solo home run to right field in the fifth inning. He finished the game 1-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI. It was Bleday's fifth home run of the season.

The outfielder has hit three of his five home runs this season since May 2. Through 160 plate appearances in 2025, the 27-year-old is slashing .216/.313/.388 with 16 RBI, 25 runs scored, and a 20:34 BB:K ratio.
