According to Erik Boland of Newsday, DJ LeMahieu (calf) is slated to join the New York Yankees in Seattle for the start of their series Monday. LeMahieu has been out all season with a calf strain and, more recently, a hip issue. Over nine rehab games, he went 12-for-27 with one home run and a 4:3 K:BB. (Erik Boland)
Fantasy Impact:
The Yankees have not yet confirmed if LeMahieu will be activated from the 10-day injured list for the series opener, though the report indicates he is healthy now. With Jazz Chisholm (oblique) currently sidelined, the source notes LeMahieu could be the Yankees' primary second baseman.
