Yu Darvish (elbow) will not be activated for upcoming series

Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters that Yu Darvish will not rejoin the team’s starting rotation during their upcoming series against the Blue Jays. (Annie Heilbrunn on Twitter)

“What I can tell you is he’s going to continue to work on throwing and getting some other things taken care of, and he will not be pitching in Toronto," Shildt said. It is unclear as of now when Darvish will be activated at some point this upcoming week.
