Zach Eflin allowed eight earned runs on ten hits while striking out four over 5.1 innings in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

Eflin showed promise in his first outing back from injury but struggled against the Nationals. After Sunday's outing, Eflin now has a 5.08 ERA and 1.13 WHIP to go with a 3-2 record across five starts. He'll look to bounce back in his next scheduled appearance on Friday against the Red Sox, which rank 13th in MLB with a .731OPS in May.
