The Seattle Mariners activated George Kirby from the 15-day IL, and he’s set to make his season debut on Thursday against the Houston Astros. (Daniel Kramer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After starting the season on the IL due to right shoulder inflammation, Kirby is slated to make his return Thursday against the Astros. His rehab stint wasn't stellar, as he recorded a 7.20 ERA and 1.70 WHIP over 10 innings. He'll be tested immediately by an Astros offense that has been productive this month, ranking ninth in MLB with a .738 OPS in May.
