Luis L. Ortiz allowed four earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out five over 4.2 innings in Monday's loss to the Reds.

After a stretch where he allowed just seven earned runs over his previous five starts, Ortiz had a challenging outing Monday, surrendering at least four earned runs for the first time since May 6 against the Nationals.
