Colin Rea allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings in Sunday’s win against the Pirates.

Demonstrating inconsistent form as of late, Rea has given up four or more earned runs in three of his last five starts, while impressively limiting opponents to a combined two earned runs in his other two outings during that span. Following yesterday's performance, his season numbers stand at a 3.84 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with a 4-2 record through 11 starts. He is slated to pitch next on Saturday against the Mariners.
