Mike Vasil did not factor into the decision in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Cardinals. The right-hander was charged with six runs on seven hits and a walk over 3.2 innings, though he did set a season high with six strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
After opening with two scoreless innings, Vasil allowed six runs before exiting in the fourth. It was the first time in 21 appearances this season that he has allowed two home runs in an outing. The rookie now has a 2.94 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and a 38:27 K:BB ratio across 49 innings. It has yet to be confirmed if he will make another start or return to a long relief role.
