Fantasy Impact:
Despite a challenging start with the Diamondbacks, tallying only three hits in 41 at-bats, McCarthy is receiving another opportunity. He's earned it with an excellent .314/.401/.440 slash line during his time with Triple-A Reno this season. This promotion comes as Corbin Carroll (wrist) was placed on the injured list. McCarthy is expected to share starts in right field with Randal Grichuk.
