Eflin injured his back while warming up in the bullpen before Saturday's game, but attempted to pitch through it. However, he struggled, giving up five hits and four earned runs in his lone inning of work. Baltimore Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino stated that Eflin will get his back checked out and may undergo imaging. The team will wait for the results before deciding if a stint on the injured list is necessary.
