Chris Bassitt allowed three earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out nine over 5.2 innings in Thursday's win against the Yankees.

After today’s performance, Bassitt now holds a 4.32 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with an 8-4 record across 18 starts this season. This was a nice bounce-back performance after a two-inning, eight-run outing last time against Boston. His strikeout rate is up slightly from the previous three years, and his walk rate is closer to what it was in 2022. His ERA indicators suggest he's been a little unlucky. He'll get the White Sox for the second time in his last four starts, next time out.
