Cardinals catcher Willson Contreras homered as part of a two-hit effort in Thursday's 8-1 win over the visiting Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Contreras' seventh-inning solo shot capped the scoring for the Cardinals in this one while he also added a single and a pair of runs scored on the night. The veteran backstop is enjoying yet another excellent season at the plate, hitting .254 with 12 homers, four steals, and a .773 OPS across 88 games on the campaign.
