Cade Smith blew the save chance on Monday against the Rockies, allowing four runs (one earned) while recording one out.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith got the first save chance with Emmanuel Clase placed on paid leave through August 31 in the middle of a league investigation into sports gambling. He was hit hard for four hits in an outing that didn't go well. The Guardians closer situation remains up in the air.
