Carlos Carrasco solid against Reds
by Chase Davis | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Aug 1st 8:39am EDT
Carlos Carrasco allowed three earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in Thursday's win against the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Carrasco now holds a 5.68 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with a 2-2 record across seven starts this season. In his first game with his new team, Carrasco tied his season-high in strikeouts and went a season-high six innings. Fantasy managers will find it hard to trust the veteran as this is his only quality start of the season, and his strikeout rate is way down compared to his career. The Brewers are up next on the docket for Carrasco.
