The White Sox have placed infielder Miguel Vargas on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strain. (Chicago White Sox on Twitter)

Vargas was originally listed as day-to-day after missing Saturday's game, but will instead hit the injured list. The 25-year-old has hit .229 with 13 home runs, four steals, and a .707 OPS in 106 games this season.
