The Yankees optioned RHP Jake Bird to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Fantasy Impact:
Since being acquired by the Yankees, Bird has allowed seven runs (six earned) in two innings across three appearances. He should be called back up later in the season.
