The Chicago Cubs placed Jameson Taillon on the 15-day injured list on Wednesday with a left groin injury. (Taylor McGregor on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon has been placed back on the injured list with a groin injury, just two starts after being activated from a right calf strain. In his two starts since returning on August 19, he posted a 1.64 ERA and 0.82 WHIP over 11 innings. There is no timeline for his return, but the Cubs are not expected to rush him back. Javier Assad has been recalled from Triple-A Iowa to take his spot in the rotation.
