Jordan Hicks (shoulder) officially placed on IL

The Boston Red Sox have officially placed Jordan Hicks on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder tendinitis. The move was made on Friday, retroactive to Thursday. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Hicks has posted an 8.20 ERA and 1.98 WHIP over 18.2 innings since joining the Red Sox. He is expected to rest for a bit before beginning a throwing program. In a corresponding move, Chris Murphy was recalled from Triple-A Worcester.
