After missing two consecutive games, Ryan Ritter could return to the Colorado Rockies' lineup on Thursday for their series opener against the San Diego Padres. (MLB.com)

Ritter, who suffered an ankle injury sliding into second base during Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, is feeling better after a few days of rest. He remains day-to-day. Orlando Arcia got the start at second base on Wednesday and could be in the lineup again on Thursday if Ritter is still unable to play.
